Rentals

First Parish has a variety of spaces to accommodate different types of events, such as weddings, celebrations, concerts, receptions, and intimate recitals.


The Meetinghouse
The Meetinghouse seats approximately 330 people and is a beautifully classic setting for a service, ceremony, or concert. Concert rentals require approval and coordination with our music director, Timothy Steele. It is equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system, listening assist devices, and professional digital audio recording capability. We have accessible seating areas.


The Children’s Church
The Children’s Church is the perfect location for a small wedding or naming ceremony for an intimate group of less than 40.

The Parish Hall
The Parish Hall has a maximum capacity of about 120 for cocktails, and 80 seated. It is the perfect location for a birthday party, wedding/ baby shower or medium sized reception. The room was recently renovated in 2021. Its neutral décor allows you to create an event that truly reflects your style. The Parish Hall is equipped with an adjacent Kitchen.

Also adjacent to this room is the Chase Parlor, a classically decorated area perfect for intimate conversation of which you have access to in renting the hall.

Memorials and Funerals
First Parish is ready to meet your needs at a time of loss and grief. Our church is available for memorial services and funerals for those of all faiths.
A service may be arranged in consultation with Reverend Lisa Ward. Call for more information 617-698-6329.

Activity Room
Our activity room located in the lower level can accommodate 15-20. This space is ideally suited for small group presentations, panel discussions, or group learning. The room recently underwent renovations with new paint and flooring. The room has air conditioning and Wi-Fi access.
