Summer services have been going swimmingly this year, with a wonderful variety of wisdom sharing and an added time to gather with snacks afterwards. The sense of community building remains strong, even in the less scheduled summer months. We know we need each other, especially during these chaotic times, to strengthen our hope in human endeavor. This next year is poised, here at First Parish, to deepen bonds and widen our faith reach.

This Sunday we’ll have the added treat of an informal meet and greet with our Director of Lifespan Religious Exploration Susannah Bales after the service.  We’ll have a more formal welcome at our ingathering service on September 7th.

With full staffing this year, there is much we can do together. Come and introduce yourselves over snacks and lemonade. Bring your ideas for ways to enrich the life of First Parish. Susannah has hit the floor running, and is a delight. I hope to see you there!

Step by step we find our way.

Blessings Be, Rev. Lisa

Happy Summer!

The First Parish Milton Worship Committee wants to help people get to know our community. We propose to do that by letting them see us on a screen show of photos of us when they first enter the front doors of our church and enter the Narthex. Please send us your pictures by August 29.  Show us how you participate in community with others at FPM or with the larger community through FPM.

Use of Pictures: We do not intend for these pictures to be used on social media, just in the church Narthex.

Where to send: Please send pictures to FPMphotos65@gmail.com. Help us get to know you and each other and maybe help potential new members better understand who we are and picture themselves spending time with us.
