A Text Message from God

What if one day your phone vibrated and you had received a divine communication. A text message from God was waiting in your inbox. Unopened. How would you feel? What do you think it would say? What would you want it to say? How would It change your theology to receive such a personal and direct connection? Through a spoken word styled sermon join Sean Neil-Barron for a reflection on these very questions.

Sean Neil-Barron was born on Treaty 7 land in Calgary Alberta, Sean moved to Boston to attend Harvard Divinity School last August. Sean’s theological work is focused on finding the deep roots of our Unitarian Universalist faith and living that out in worship and in our everyday life.

Brainstorming Party

Ever wondered how we come up with ideas for worship, stories, and songs?

Have some ideas you’d like to see come to life in worship or religious education?

Join us for this brainstorming session for the coming year.

All ages welcome to participate; child care will also be provided.

IS YOUR CHILD PLANNING TO PARTICIPATE IN RE THIS YEAR?

Dear friends– We on the RE Committee are so excited for the year ahead. We have a problem though: only a SMALL number of people have registered their kids so far, and we need this information ASAP to plan for classes and teacher pairings. PLEASE save us the trouble of having to reach out to you individually by using this link to register any child or youth that will be involved in RE and Youth Programming this coming year, ASAP! This is also your chance to honor the coop-nature of our program and raise your hand to volunteer to help out. With staff positions unfilled, we are doing as much as we can to fill the gaps, and as a result, we need your help more than usual!!! Thanks in advance! Any questions? Contact Jen Erbe Leggett, RE Chair, at jerbleg@gmail.com.
