Religious Exploration Sunday

Message from Rev. Lisa

One of the perks of shaking hands in front of First Parish on Sunday morning is enjoying the campus grounds. It is a beautiful campus. I get to take a moment each Sunday to eye the Children’s Church, a unique and precious building that offers a smaller sanctuary for worship and meditation. This summer, the worship committee will be facilitating Sunday services in the Children’s Church, and start an hour earlier (9:30 am), in deference to summer heat and scheduling. This is an experiment and an opportunity for more to experience the feel of the Children’s Church. Come check it out this summer.

Blessings,
Rev. Lisa

Note: Rev. Lisa will be attending the UUA General Assembly in New Orleans from June 19-25.

UU General Assembly New Orleans June 21 – 25

General Assembly (GA) is the annual meeting of our Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). Attendees worship, witness, learn, connect, and make policy for the Association through democratic process. Here is the website.

In the past several years, there has been live streaming of both business meetings and worship. I would expect more information on that option closer to the opening date.
