How Does Your Faith Inspire You to be Brave?

Worship will be led by the Youth Group

Message from Rev. Lisa

I send out many thanks for all your good wishes and sympathies in the death of my mother. You are a caring community. We uplift one another — I am feeling that deeply these days.

I look forward to attending First Parish’s Annual Meeting this Sunday. I hope to see most of you there. Sunday morning’s worship is an event not to be missed, as well, for it will be led by the Youth Group. In many congregations — and I’m guessing it is true at First Parish as well — the Youth Sunday is usually one of the more moving worship services of the year. It is inspiring to hear the aspirations, observations and wonderings of our youth. They teach us a lot about what society is building, about what we are teaching and about what gifts and wisdom is emerging amongst us. Come and be a part of this important day.

Blessings,
Rev. Lisa

A Reminder About the Declaration of Conscience (which we will be voting on at the annual meeting)

This is a statement drafted by the Unitarian Universalist Association and the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee. The request is for individuals and faith communities to sign on in agreement. This statement stands on its own. We are not voting on edits or addendums. Here is a link to the text offered by the UUA and UUSC:
