The RE Committee invites you bring a potluck dish that reflects an aspect of your heritage, or has meaning to you. Please include a brief description of the dish which includes the ingredients for those who have allergies. We hope to have everyone speak about personal or cultural significance of the dish they bring. We look forward to seeing you!

Blessing of the Animals

Sunday, October 13
First Parish will hold its annual Blessing of the Animals. In this unique service, congregants are invited to bring their pets of all shapes and sizes to receive individual blessings from Rev. Parisa Parsa. This is always an experience to cherish, and members of the broader community are invited to come with their furry, feathered, scaly, or slippery friends.

Memorial Service for Allison Barry – November 2

A Memorial Service in Loving Memory of Alison Barry will be held on Saturday November 2 at 11am in the Children’s Church Alison’s family would be delighted to have her First Parish and Milton community friends attend, so please spread the word and mark your calendars.

The Story Walk Returns! October 12 – October 31

The StoryWalk® Project is back in Milton with a new book for the fall! Come enjoy this rain or shine, free event sponsored by the Milton Early Childhood Alliance and the Trailside Museum. Visit the Trailside Museum from Saturday, October 12th through Friday, October 31st between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Enjoy a story posted along the way as you walk around the grounds of the Trailside Museum. This is a terrific opportunity to enjoy a wonderful children’s book while taking a healthy walk. This Story Walk can easily be appreciated by children both young and old. The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Don’t forget to let us know you were there by signing our guest register after reading the last page of the story!

Make your key ring lighter. If you are not a committee chair and have keys to any church and/or office doors, please return them to the office. If there is a reason for you to continue to need the key, please drop me a note at director@fpmilton.org.
