UPDATE – PEACE FIRST CANCELLED TONIGHT – We’ve reconsidered and feel that roads in Milton and surrounding areas are in fact not safe. Please stay warm tonight, maybe lend a neighbor a hand with shoveling, and send good thoughts and prayers to everyone working to clear the roads!

This Week in Worship & Religious Education

Sunday, March 10
No Greater Miracle
Rev. Parisa Parsa

“Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each others eyes for an instant?” wrote Henry David Thoreau. This morning we will explore and celebrate the miracle of healing in community. Special guest musicians Luminaria* and recognition of the great ministry done by our Caring Committee will make this a day to remember!

*Luminaria is a women’s a capella singing group founded out of our own small group ministry program, dedicated to performing for people too ill to attend a live musical performance. They are making an exception to share their talent with us this SUNDAY.

Religious Education

Spirit Play I and II (ages 3-6) will meet in their classrooms downstairs where they will hear “The Parable of the Great Pearl” (I) and “The Mystery of God” (II).

Passages (2nd grade) will meet in the third classroom downstairs to continue exploring the third UU principle: acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations.

Small Group Ministries (grades 3-6) will begin in the meetinghouse before being dismissed to their classes.
Neighboring Faiths (7th grade) will meet in the parlor.

Young Adult Brunch

Sunday, March 24

Young adults (18-35) are invited to join an informal brunch gathering on March 24th. Join us after church at Sweet Life (2243 Dorchester Ave.) for good food, conversation, laughter, and community building.
